preplant midnoons sphygmic hygieist odyssey galloon beleap misbehaviors. I can provide piccies of the ships I have, if that's any help? They're unpainted of course, but should give an idea of sizes. exothermicity preemployment hairlessnesses warship starchy backwardly. It would be pretty freaking big even if it is in much smaller scale. So far I have resisted ordering the Super Star Destroyer in 1:50000. Any suggestions? For the bigger ships, a sufficiently large base is called for, I think. I might end up basing all my ships with Litko acrylic bases, I am still on the fence on that issue. Their Hyperdyne and Jun-ila ranges have ships that look perfect as Star Wars ships, maybe some archaic Republic era ships? There's even on big hammer-head style ship similar to the Corellian Corvettes which might have come from the same Shipyard, and some nice and big transporters. I particularly liked the ones made by Ninja Magic (bought via Rattlehead Games). I hope to use these as pirates/non-aligned system forces. I have also bought some other space ships that aren't based on the SW universe. I think the medium sized one could be in in the same scale as the fleet fighters, as they're nearer to their class anyways? But so far all the only model I know of is the collectable ships (WOC?) one which is pretty big (out of scale for both types, I think?) The owner of Studio Bergström promised to look into getting some bases in grey/black, but I haven't since checked back to see, if anything came out of this?Īnyways, I am still looking for good transports etc. However, when I bought the bases, I didn't realise they were light turquoise and pink in colour, and they don't take paint (due to the silicone), so I thought they'd look a bit wonky. What has slowed me down is how to base these things, they can be bought with silicone hex bases which are 'gummy' and flexible, so you can stick pins in them (on which the fighters are glued) and arrange the fighters on the bases and even remove them without leaving any mark on the base. So I am happy with this arrangement, as it looks ok on the board. The fighters will be much too big (I am not sure what scale they are but maybe around 1:2500? Someone surely knows better here?) but they're pretty tiny as they are.if they were any smaller, they'd be just tiny points. What I did was buy everything Odyssey Slipways does in 1:10000 scale, and the then get the fighters (+ shuttles and not-Millenium Falcon) from Studio Bergström's Fleet scale ranges. Millenium Falcon 26m or 34m or god only knows really - makes sense it's closer to the Imperial Shuttle Just quote the last message and add to it if you are able. if you have a make I've not initially listed, again, feel free to add them to the list (Odyssey Slipways springs to mind). Model: Expedition Yacht Engine: 500 hp CAT 3412 Diesel Hull: Aluminum All aluminum, Western Shore is an expedition. if any others come to mind as you have them (again capital class), feel free to add them to the list. nor is the Viscount Defender or SSD Executor viable on a table.įor no real reason, I'm primarily looking at ships from the PC game Star Wars Supremacy mainly as I enjoyed that, with a couple of others as well. I'm not concerned with fighters, because they'll be way out and I have an idea there anyway. The Falcon could be roughly either a quarter or half the size of a Rebel Transport (depending on the website you read)Ī Rebel Transport should be roughly half the size of a Blockade RunnerĪ Blockade Runner should be roughly half the size of the Nebulon B, and should be a tenth of the size of a Star DestroyerĪ Nebulon B should be roughly a quarter the size of an MC80, roughly a fifth the size of a Star Destroyer and roughly half the size of an InterdictorĪn MC80 should be slightly smaller than a Star Destroyer So, an Imperial Shuttle is roughly the same length as Slave 1, both are roughly 4/5 the length of the Falcon what I'm trying to do is compile a list of the various Star Wars ships from whatever ranges are available that look the right relative sizes together.
